University of Delaware
Spring Garden neighborhood, Philadelphia, PA
[exhibit sign copy]Join a workday at Spring Garden Community Garden. Members are busy tending personal beds, tidying up shared areas and planning future events. Highlighting only a small part of this Garden, we share the amazing ways these neighbors have created a multi-functional space that benefits both members and the broader community.
Gardening for the Greater Philadelphia! PHS gives schools a specific educational prompt to shape their exhibit. This year we tasked them with choosing a neighborhood of Philadelphia and highlighting its individual horticulture and people. Many exhibitors have taken it a step further and expanded on their vision of what the neighborhood could do to improve its green spaces.
