Safe Streets!
Mayor John Street, City Council President Anna C. Verna, Commissioner of Police Sylvester Johnson, State Representative Harold James, and other representatives of municipal and state government tour five target corners in the Seventeenth Police Division Friday, May 17, 2002 to meet with community residents and discuss concerns.

People feel safe to venture outside their homes for the first time in years, Street commented.
