Strategic Planning

SOSNA prepares a five-year strategic plan for the South of South Neighborhood as part of its mandate as the area's Neighborhood Advisory Committee.

At the March 2002 general meeting, attendees were encouraged to fill out interest surveys if they wanted to participate in the planning process. From those participants, a steering committee was formed, with members taking roles in researching best practices in the following areas:

SOSNA is the Neighborhood Advisory Committee for the area from South Street to Washington Avenue, Broad Street West to the Schuylkill River, funded by the Office of Housing and Community Development to provide citizen input into their redevelopment process in our community.
